I carved this piece for a client who lives in Caldicot, Wales. He is a welsh patriot who loves dragons, his wife’s surname is Archer – hence the archer riding the dragon. I carved the face of the Archer to her likeness and they were very pleased with the results. The tree was a twin stem Ash, that was planted by his father when he was young so he wanted to keep a part of the tree in memory of him.
